Today we finished plotting and analyzing our data for volcanos and earthquakes and we discovered that volcanos and earthquakes commonly occur together and almost always occur on or at plate boundaries. It is the movement of the plates at these boundaries that creates the conditions and stresses for volcanoes and earthquakes.
